Get to Know Mark
Mark Montgomery has had a deep passion for theatre from a very early age, following an extremely short-lived and catastrophic football career that didn't last him past the age of ten. Despite his faulty athletic abilities, Mark began to display his musical and comic talents to the comfort of air-conditioned theaters in his hometown of Orlando, Florida. He is known for his versatility, work ethic, and willingness to collaborate, believing that the most fulfilling theatrical experiences are those that are created by result of hard work, dedication, and heart. His knowledge of theatre can only be matched by his desire to learn more, making him a lifelong student to the art form.

Mark is filled with gratitude to be pursing his dream as a career, currently earning his BFA in Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory (Graduating 2025). At Shenandoah, he has had the privilege to explore beyond performance opportunities, serving as a playwright for multiple installments of student work. In the spring of 2024, Mark made his directorial debut with a student-produced production of Spring Awakening. He aims to maintain a multi-faceted role as a theatre artist through the development of his career. Following graduation, Mark plans to relocate to New York City.

When Mark is not performing or creating, you may see him hiking up the Shenandoah Valley without any quality gear, reading a book that he bought three years ago, scribbling away in one of his many pocket journals, or picking up a new hobby that he will forget about the next time a show rolls around (he may or may not have abandoned a Sims 4 multi-verse...).
